Pausly is a productivity and focus tracking app for macOS that respects your privacy. All your data stays on your Mac. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to external servers.

Data Collection

Pausly does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers or third parties.

Local Data Storage

All data is stored locally on your Mac in:

~/Library/Application Support/PauslyTracker/

This includes:

• Pomodoro session history — when you start and complete focus sessions
• App usage tracking data — which apps you use and for how long
• Tasks and quick notes — your personal tasks and captured thoughts
• Achievements and statistics — your progress, streaks, and unlocked achievements
• Settings and preferences — your customization choices

You own all this data. You can access, export, or delete it at any time by navigating to the folder above or deleting it entirely.

Accessibility Permission

Pausly requests accessibility permission to track which applications you are actively using.

What we access:

• Name of the currently active application
• Window title of the active application

What we do not do:

• We do not record keystrokes
• We do not capture screenshots
• We do not access file contents
• We do not monitor background apps

Notification Permission

Pausly uses notifications to alert you about session progress, break times, and focus milestones. All notification preferences are fully customizable within the app.

Third-Party Services

Pausly does not integrate with any third-party services, analytics platforms, or advertising networks. There are no SDKs, trackers, or external calls of any kind.

Children's Privacy

Pausly does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
